I’ve been considering getting a new [tag]TV[/tag] for a very long time now, and have been pouring in some signifigant time into researching the perfect buy for a guy like myself. Something powerful, beautiful, and affordable.

I’ve done everything from comparing prices at over twenty online and offline retailers, dwelving into hundreds of customer reviews, and then going back to competing retailers to have them try and beat prices that I have found.

And now, I am happy to say that I have found the perfect match.

I JUST purchased my Samsung LNT4065F HDTV (referral link) from Amazon.com. As stated in many postings and customer reviews, this [tag]HDTV[/tag] simply produces one of the best video images available on the market today, for an incredible price. By far, this is the most perfect selection for a TV to use with my Xbox 360 (also undoubtebly its primary purpose with the imminent release of Halo 3).

I’ve yet to hear a single complaint about this sweet HDTV, other than some [tag]LCD[/tag]’s have a clouding issue (which Amazon will help by replacing the TV free of cost if it happens within 30 days). The TV comes in full [tag]1080p[/tag] resolution, with a 15,000:1 Contrast ration (one of the best out there I may add), and tops off everything with a 10-bit video processor for incredibly smooth video in high speed action sequences.

I’ll be getting it in between the 28th and 30th of the month, and will be sure to write more about how wonderful it is then!

The price just dropped even more!  Now it’s under $1,500!  Amazon just sent me a refund on the price difference after requesting it from them =)
